Personal Background.

I was born and raised in Coventry, UK, where I’ve lived ever since. I left school with little in the way of any formal qualifications Years later, I returned to education via remote learning through the Open University and studied for and proudly gained a BA (Honours) degree in History.

Challenges I’ve Faced and Conquered.

My journey hasn’t been without challenges. In 2013, while studying and working towards my degree, as well as working for a living, I faced the heartbreaking sudden loss of my Mum, and then later I had to take on the roll of full-time sole carer for my Dad during his devastating decline into Vascular Dementia, until complications from this took his life in 2019.

Introducing Sally & Dotty

On a brighter note, my own home is ruled by two female kitties called Dotty and Sally, who are sisters from the same litter born in 2019—the same year I launched Tcpetcare. They’re a constant source of joy and inspiration to me (and, often, a pair of little pains in the posterior never letting me forget who the bosses are) I’ll forgive them for that as they’re also constantly reminding me why I love what I do.
