My Personal Story:

I was born and raised in Coventry, UK,. I left school with few formal qualifications. Years later, I returned to education via The Open University and studied for and gained a BA (Honours) in History.

Life’s Challenges:

As with all of us, life hasn’t been without its share of challenges. In 2013, while studying and working towards my degree, and also working full time, I faced the devastating sudden loss of my Mum, and then soon afterwards, I had to take on the roll of sole carer for my Dad as he was diagnosed and declined into Vascular Dementia, This I did until complications from this finally took his life in the summer of 2019.

Introducing Sally & Dotty

My world is ruled by my two feline overlords sisters Dotty and Sally, who came from the same litter born in 2019 just two months before Dad died. They’re a constant source of joy and inspiration to me, who often, can be a pair of little pains in the posterior never letting me forget who the bosses are in this household.
