Hi, I’m Steve Frost, the founder and owner of Coventry pet care

services business Tcpetcare.  With decades of life experience

and a genuine love for animals, I’ve been providing reliable,

professional pet care in Coventry and beyond for many years.

I offer calm, dependable, one-to-one support, tailored to each

pet, ensuring their happiness, comfort, and well-being. I’ve

built my business on trust and reliability.

This Is My Story

 

I was born and raised in Coventry, in the United Kingdom,

where I spent my formative years, and where I still live. I

left school with zero qualifications and found it hard settling

into a job, and spent my early adulthood drifting from job to

job, with long periods of unemployment in between.

Over time, my interests, especially in history, developed.

I've always been interested in it, and it would lead me back into

education later in life. Leading me to join the Open University

and study for a degree in the subject in my late 40s.

Balancing study with existing work and life commitments, I

undertook a BA (Honours) in History, which I successfully

completed in 2014.

Returning to education was a transformative personal

experience, deepening my intellectual and personal

development.

Life's Challenges

 

As with most people, my life has included periods of significant

challenge alongside progress and achievement.

In January 2013, while I was studying for my degree and also

working full-time, My Mum sadly and suddenly passed away

at the age of 78.

This marked a major turning point in my life and altered

my personal circumstances considerably. Due to the added 

fact that shortly afterwards, my dad started showing signs

that he might be developing dementia. Which turned out to be

the case.

as his condition progressed, I  became his sole carer, taking on

full responsibility for his day-to-day care and wellbeing.

This continued for several years as his health gradually

declined. During this time, I managed his medical needs,

appointments, and daily support, which I had to do alongside

my own work and personal commitments.

Introducing my cats Sally & Dotty

My world is ruled (with an iron paw wrapped in velvet) by my

two feline overlords, sisters Dotty and Sally.

Born in 2019 from the same litter, they arrived just two months

before dad, who was by then in a care home, passed away.

They promptly appointed themselves guardians of my heart

and bosses of the household.

They are a daily source of joy, comfort, and inspiration — and

excel at being gloriously inconvenient at times.

By turns they can be regal and ridiculous, affectionate and

exasperating. Reminding me at every opportunity who the true

bosses are.

Life under their reign is loving, and often chaotic at times - 

never dull though- and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
